We are so incredibly grateful for all the donations we receive. They all make such a difference in the lives of those women that receive them. This week we have received some incredible handmade throws/blankets from Daphne Coombs on behalf of the Knitting for Brisbane’s Needy Nerang Group.
These are just some of the items we have received.

We at Support The Girls Australia are great believers in collaboration and enjoy being able to work with other wonderful charities that empower and support those that are disadvantaged.
We were delighted when contacted by fsg.org this week asking if we could assist them with clothing and sanitary items for the victims of the Lismore floods.
We managed to deliver a very over packed SUV filled with bras, sanitary items, clothing, shoes and much needed blankets.
Once again this would not be possible without the incredible generosity of all those that donate to us.
As most people will be aware, Queensland and Northern NSW were severely impacted by Cyclone Debbie. She wrecked absolute havoc from Northern Queensland down. Support The Girls Australia was contacted by the Department of Housing Queensland this week asking if we were able to help a young Mum with two young children who had been displaced from a domestic violence refuge due to the flooding in Northern Queensland.
Jane our Director and Founder of STG in Australia is someone that will always say yes to a challenge. Jane had no idea how she was going to achieve it but she said she would see what she could do.
Well thanks to the power of social media a solution kicked into place within two hours of posting the request on our Facebook page. We have to say acknowledge Pastor Warren from the Encounter Church of Labrador. With his donation of furniture we were able to create a miracle. Within 24 hours of Jane setting the wheels in motion we had everything to ensure this Mum and her two little boys had a roof over their heads. She walked into a house and by afternoon she had a home.
We also have to thank the incredible generosity of the Gold Coast Community. Without the constant support of donations we would not be able to achieve what we do.
It is amazing what can be done with collaboration.
Thank you to everyone involved.
